Celestia TTI and Indra, as the national industrial coordinator of the NGWS/FCAS program in Spain, have reached a collaboration agreement to jointly develop next-generation antennas, enabling them to design advanced communications systems for the FCAS program.
Satellite operators running large teleport operations and satellite broadcasters seeking the ultimate technology to power their businesses now have a range of options to choose from thanks to a new generation of GaN SSPAs in DBS introduced to the market by Celestia TTI.
A specialist in delivering high performance SSPAs and BUCs with over 25 years’ experience under its belt, Celestia TTI has developed a line-up of high power SSPAs which rely on the latest solid state Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology to deliver outstanding solutions to broadcast satcom.
The team is making excellent progress on the “Microsatellite for Geostationary Orbit Surveillance and Intelligence” project, or NAUCRATES for short, after one year of collaboration on this important programme.
The aim of NAUCRATES is to design, manufacture and test the technological demonstrator of a micro satellite intended for the optical intelligence of objects resident in Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO).
A consortium led by TTI has been awarded a €9.9 million contract from the European Space Agency (ESA) for the development of a Tracking Radar for LEO Space Debris Tracking in Greece.
TTI will act as prime contractor for the design, development and deployment of the LEO Space Debris Tracking Radar in Greece (HSTR). This asset is Greece’s contribution to the European Space Surveillance and Tracking (EU-SST) consortium, which aims to strengthen EU-SST capabilities, increase its independence and improve the quality of the available space surveillance data.
Celestia TTI is marking its presence at IBC 2023 by launching a new product for broadcast satcom. The 200W SSPA/BUC is a powerful new solution for broadcast in DBS band which brings a high power, high performance option to the market.
Based on advanced, GaN technology, the 200W SSPA/BUC delivers up to 52dBm at P LINEAR from a robust, ultra-compact unit. Lightweight and with a small footprint, it offers high output power and outstanding performance at a highly competitive price when the amplifier has to be located really close to the antenna, either at the antenna hub or arm.
On Monday 19th June 2023, the First Vice-President of the Government and Minister of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, Nadia Calviño, visited the TTI facilities in Santander, together with the Government Delegate Ainoa Quiñones, Member of Parliament for Cantabria Pedro Casares and Director of the Vice-President’s Cabinet, Andrés Valverde.
TTI and its sister company TST have announced the launch of the Sirocoports 4.0 project developed with funding from the Spanish Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, which will provide a complete port digitisation solution.
The project will result in a fully integrated solution being developed to digitise port operations in an efficient, scalable and commercially viable way thanks to the modular and open design of its robust hardware and software platforms.
TTI has signed the agreement for the Electronic Warfare Postgraduate programme with the University of Cantabria and the Defense Industry Cluster at a special ceremony in Santander marking the introduction of this new specialised course to the university curriculum.
TTI has joined forces with three other Spanish businesses in its field to launch the Electronic Warfare postgraduate programme, a new specialised course at the University of Cantabria in Santander, Spain.
TTI is taking part in this year’s SPIE Astronomical Telescopes + Instrumentation 2022 in Montréal, Québec, Canada from 17-22 July, presenting a range of cutting-edge technology products for space exploration, radio astronomy, quantum computing and scientific applications at the event.
