Future Internet award
EARTH project (in wich TTI participates as a partner) has won the prestigious 4th Future Internet award! During the closing cermony of Aalborg’s Future Internet Week, on 7-11 May EARTH was announced as the winning project out of 36 applications. EARTH has been recognised for its enabling contributions to sustainable and environment friendly growth of mobile broadband infrastructure, bridgeing the digital divide and supporting smart growth.
TTI role in EARTH project is mainly focused in developing more power efficiency RF components based on the combination of different techniques such as sleep modes, multi-RAT coordination and network optimization.
