Satellites in MEO
ESTEC, Holland 6 October 2017 – TTI’s Alberto Pellón, Head of the Mobile Terminals Group presented his technical paper on ‘Dual Beam Ground Terminal Antenna for MEO Constellations.’ The paper formed a key part of the ESA Antennas Workshop which is focused upon recent and on-going antenna systems and technology development.
Mr Pellón described the design and bread boarding of a single ground station terminal antenna, capable of generating two beams making it able to track two simultaneous satellites in MEO orbit for a successful handover process.
